Full description
This is Daily Nourish comfort food with the effort removed. We make sage-seasoned pork meatballs, then nestle them into a deeply savoury onion gravy. Alongside is a generous tray of cauliflower mash and broccoli, ready to heat and bring straight to the table.

The family pack is designed for four people and is split across two trays: one for the meatballs and gravy, the other for the vegetables. It is a practical freezer dinner for a busy night, while still feeling like someone cooked for you.

ABOUT THIS TEST

We’re assessing:

  • Overall flavour and enjoyment
  • Whether the pork meatballs are tender, well-seasoned and satisfying
  • Whether the onion gravy is rich enough, tasty enough and generous enough
  • The balance between meatballs, gravy, cauliflower mash and broccoli
  • Whether the cauliflower mash is creamy and enjoyable after freezing and reheating
  • Whether the broccoli holds its texture after reheating
  • Whether the two-tray format feels generous, practical and easy to serve
  • Whether it is the right portion size for a family of four
  • Packaging, appearance and ease of reheating
  • Whether you would genuinely purchase it for a family dinner—and at what price

Your feedback will help determine what needs to change before the recipe, ingredients, packaging and production process are finalised.

Transfer the food to microwave-safe dishes and cover loosely.

Heat on HIGH for 3 minutes, then stir the mash, broccoli and meatballs through the gravy. Continue heating in 30–60 second intervals until piping hot throughout.

Stand for 1 minute before serving.

WHAT DAILY NOURISH IS WORKING TOWARDS

Daily Nourish exists to remove the effort from eating properly: satisfying meals made predominantly from recognisable ingredients, with generous protein, plenty of vegetables and clear, honest labelling.

This founding kitchen test establishes a reliable starting point for flavour, consistency, packaging and reheating. Part of the development process is deciding whether every ingredient earns a place in the final recipe—and finding better alternatives where it doesn’t—without compromising taste, value or convenience.

Our working principle is simple:

Whole-food ingredients by default. Processed ingredients only when they provide a clear benefit, and always transparently declared.
